NEW YORK!!

My mom and i just recently returned from our trip to NEW YORK!! we go every two years with a group of about 10-15 Girls. Its so much fun to just get away for a few days and do a lot of fun stuff mostly shopping! im still tired from all the walking around the city (which we did after seeing 3 rats in one subway station!!!) this first pic is my favorite! this is just mine and my moms purchases from the weekend! (including the best ever strawberry cheesecake from juniors!)

9 to 5 the musical which just came out in April was wonderful!! IT starred 4 of the funniest people i have ever seen in a musical! it was great, if u have the chance to see it you totally should!

Times Square!!

This is Allison Janney the leading actress! also known in the west wing and the mom in Juno! sooo cool to meet her and she was sooo nice! We also saw Mr Big and Tay Diggs walking down the street but didnt want to seem like stalkers so we decided to let them be!

If anyone watches the Real Housewives of New york city this place needs no explanation but here's ZARIN FABRICS!!! does this fabric look familiar? Jill was not working this day nor bobby or her Gay husband! Disappointing but still just as cool to see the place! AWESOME! highlight of the trip~

My mom and I in Tavern On the Green! Beautiful, Exciting, Expensive ($310 for 6 people for Lunch) and the service was horrible! i would eat there again just for the beauty of the place! The food was wonderful which kind of made up for the man that called himself a waiter!

These are just a few highlights from our trip! We had a Blast next time all of your should come! sorry this isn't a wordless wed post! lol and also sorry its so long!

Plumeria Update

Katelyn Made an update on her plumeria "sticks" today and i left an ugly comment about how mad i was because mine were doing nothing of the sort. Well after coming home today and deciding mine needed a pep talk look what i found in return!!!! they have sprung to life!! yay so excited. We might not get flowers this year but mine has finally come to life!

so im sure noone cares but i got new hair today! i guess im kind of backwards because i went dark in the summer but i have pink in there! thats summer right? Im still getting used to it but here are a few pics! (you can rwally see the pink in the second one)

So here they are! they have been finished for like ever now but MY STUPID CAMERA!!! I hate the thing and i want a new one and i think i may go buy one tomorrow!!! anyway, They turned out pretty cute if i do say so myself! the white and red floral one is my fav!!

They dont all really go together but thats kind of what i was going for! For those wondering where the dress is,...im still working on it! Happy Wednesday!

Well day 2 of BBB started today and was muchhhhh better! i made it through the entire class without wanting to die! only downside of today! Body measurements! yuck! more then i needed to know!And to those of you wondering about some projects i had talked about,..still haven't gotten a new sewing machine needle. Getting one tonight!! Happy Friday! Prom tomorrow! pray for me!!

BBB!

so the day came for me to begin the dreaded BBB! ughhh as expected i thought i would die! @ 10:30 this morning i walked in to Kristine saying "ready to sweat?" ughh not in the mood! Of all weeks for mother nature to visit me she wants to visit this week, so like i said not in the mood! This workout was like nothing i have ever seen in my life! i already did not feel good and this was just the cherry on top! We did running in place, jump roping, lunges, squats, all kinds of shoulder crap, boxer jumps, mountain climbers, and more weight stuff that i don't even care to remember what they were called! My body hurts from my head to my toe! as if two workouts a week wasn't enough for my lazy behind the "homework" adds another three workouts u have to do on your own within the week! what in the world did i get myself into?!!!? if i don't post for a few days know that I'm laying in bed not being able to move!

Rant of the day!! i broke my last sewing machine needle right in the middle of my pillow project! i have been through two already! i hate these stupid thick edged napkins!!! ughhhh!!!

As most of you know by now i love anything crafty. Jenni (katelyns sis) told me about an awesome project that we should have thought of ourselves. Place mat and Napkin Pillows! Sew sides together and stuff with fibre fill and your done! Easy Peasy! Here are a few napkins i picked up at World Market today. The best ever store for anything home! My fav is the bottom floral print!! I spent maybe $8 on all of them~

These little cuties are from www.Kaboose.com they are made from tissue paper and pipe cleaners! i haven't totally mastered it but would be fun for any kid or the kid @ heart! I like the one by itself better, still working on the bouquet....

by the way isnt the color of my kitchen awesome!!!

Shrimp, Shrimp, Shrimp!

Today mom, dad, Scott and I decided to go and do a little shopping and eating @ the annual Shrimp Festival in Fernandina. (which i love dearly and to which my husband says every year he will never go to again. This is his third year going!) I love to browse down every street and find what treasures and even some trash that people are selling. I also love to see what wonderful interesting people we can run into. (and what crazy outfit they may be wearing!!) This year was HOTTTT! i don't ever remember it being 102 but i swear it was! but we just fought the heat with ice cream and frozen lemonade! (mine was a double scoop of Superman which gave me the bright blue tongue I'm still sporting) Last October my mom , sis-in-law, and I went to the Christmas made in the south show and found cool framed pics of odd things that spelled out your name! We also were very disappointed to find that it was almost $20 a letter and being i have 5 letters now i decided that was too steep! Oh was i sooo very excited when i walked up upon my first purchase this Davis framed Art which i picked from many many many letters! it took me like 15 mins to pick which d i wanted, there were like 20. After my hard work the old lady i payed said it was the best one all weekend! thank you!! haha but i love it and the best part! only $8 a letter! much better!!!

next is the cutie thing that hangs outside in "scotts yard!" i love it so much! I'm not sure of the purpose is but it jingles and i love it dearly!

and for those who know we are trying not to crate our dear children anymore,....this is what we came home to today after being @ the festival! this ripped up mag would be one that has been sitting under my coffee table for about 3 months and they just decided to do this today!

and here is Griffins butt running from daddy because he knows hes in trouble!!
